Before construction can begin, your new home plans are subject to a design review to ensure they align with the Carlton Landing Architectural Standards. Your architect and builder will work with you to submit the plans and have them approved. While building your dream home can be a long and detailed process, Design Review helps to ensure long term value of the community for its residents.
DESIGN REVIEWYour orientation will be scheduled between you, the homeowner, the Carlton Landing Architecture Design Committee, and if desired, your architect. This optional meeting is a chance for you to ask questions and gain insights, and learn about the design review process prior to submitting.

During this step, architectural design committee reviews any revisions made from the Preliminary Submission and provides any final comments or questions regarding the project design.
Once plans have been reviewed, ADC will provide an official report approving the plans allowing clients to make their construction completion deposit prior to obtaining a building permit.
You and your builder will work with the Town of Carlton Landing to receive a building permit.
