Join us for a cherished Carlton Landing Tradition—the Community Bonfire! This beloved event, started by Clay Chapman, is a highlight of the Holiday season in our community. Until recently the event was hosted in the pocket neighborhood “The Burroughs,” which was its original home, but the event has grown to a size that inspired a larger location. We’re excited to announce that for the second year the bonfire will take place on the Town Green.
The torch has now been passed from father to son, with Clay’s son Staughty designing and building the iconic tree, built from scrap lumber! Recently, the Carlton Landing Foundation has stepped in to help orchestrate this event, continuing the legacy of community involvement. Come visit the progress of this masterpiece beginning in early November. It will be completed by Friendsgiving, November 23rd. On Friendsgiving we will light the twinkle lights that adorn the tree for the first time, where it will glow until we set it ablaze after sunset December 14th.
Enjoy hot cocoa, explore pop-up shops, and soak in live music as we gather around the fire to celebrate community and tradition. Bring your friends and family—let’s make new memories together!
