Saturday Morning Craft

Saturday, March 23 | 10:00 am

Pavilion Park

Join us at Pavilion Park for a magical morning of creativity and community! We’ll start our adventure with an engaging story time featuring the inspiring book “What Do You Do with an Idea.” Follow along as we journey through the pages, discovering the power of imagination and innovation.

After the story, it’s time to get our hands dirty with a hands-on craft activity. We’ll be creating “Cress Heads,” where we’ll plant microgreens in jars. Watch as your greens grow, just like an idea blossoming into something amazing! It’s a fun and interactive way to explore the concept of growth and transformation.

This event promises to be a delightful blend of learning, creativity, and community spirit. Admission is $20 per crafter, and all materials will be provided. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to nurture your creativity and connect with others in our vibrant community at Pavilion Park!

More about the book: A New York Times Best Seller and award-winning book, What Do You Do With an Idea? is for anyone who’s ever had a big idea.

This is the story of one brilliant idea and the child who helps to bring it into the world. As the child’s confidence grows, so does the idea itself. And then, one day, something amazing happens. This is a story for anyone, at any age, who’s ever had an idea that seemed a little too big, too odd, too difficult. It’s a story to inspire you to welcome that idea, to give it some space to grow, and to see what happens next. Because your idea isn’t going anywhere. In fact, it’s just getting started.
